Our biodiesel is produced from 100 per cent waste-derived materials, ensuring:

Measurable carbon savings (Well-to-wheels)

We know that sustainability claims must be measurable to be credible so we calculate greenhouse gas savings using full lifecycle (well‑to‑wheels) analysis, in line with UK and international reporting standards.

This includes emissions from:

• Feedstock origin and collection
• Transport logistics
• Fuel production and refining
• Distribution

Our comprehensive approach ensures carbon savings reflect the true environmental impact. Depending on feedstock origin and supply chain characteristics, Argent’s waste-based biodiesel can deliver lifecycle greenhouse gas savings of up to 90 per cent compared with fossil diesel on a well-to-wheels basis. It also means our customers have carbon data that is quantifiable and verifiable, supporting Scope 1 fuel-use reporting and wider Scope 3 reporting requirements where applicable.

Full traceability and transparency

Traceability is fundamental to sustainable fuels and is central to Argent’s approach.

All waste-based feedstocks used in Argent’s biodiesel are traceable through certified supply chains,  supported by verified feedstock documentation and auditable sustainability records.
